Fun warm-up questions to help break the ice:

Human Knot

You need:

Each person writes the name of a famous person who everybody knows on a section of tape. Don't let the person to your right see this name.

Then tape this name to the forehead of the person on your right. 

When everybody is ready, then each person asks yes/ no questions & tries to work out who they are. You can ask questions so long as you have a yes answer. Thereafter the asking moves to the next person

Here is a selection of cheap & safe games that are good for prison visits. When choosing games, remember: they should be cheap as cards get lost, torn or stolen. Get cheap versions of the game & be prepared to replace them regularly. Try to get very simple games that non native speakers can also learn by seeing what others are doing. The best games are those that can be played even when some cards or pieces are missing!

Play with 2 to 5 people. A good game for prison as even if a card gets lost, the game still works! Start viewing from 40 seconds
